From the bottle:
“Redtree Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect wine to enjoy with a variety of foods — from pizza and pasta dishes to hearty beef and chicken fare. Our tried-and-true winemaking techniques produce red wines of amazing consistancy: fruit-forward, virtually expressive and food-friendly.
For today’s wine we go back to Redtree wines, the producer of our favorite Moscato. And while there is plenty of Cabernet Sauvignon available, finding a good one for only $7 is not easy. Today we’ve done just that.
The 2010 Redtree Cabernet Sauvignon begins with black cherry and smoky notes along with some toffee aromas. Tasting the wine shows lots of bright and delicious fruit like blackberry, raspberry and black cherry but also offers a bit of smoke. This wine is really easy to drink thanks to the good texture and soft tannins. It ends nicely with a medium-short finish. Day 2 is just as good.
