If you asked people to list what comes to mind when they think of France, wine would, without a doubt, be near the top of the list. But there is so much wine that comes from France (and some of it is so expensive) that it can be dizzingly complex to navigate your way around wine from this country.
With 15+ major wine regions in France, each with their own unique set of rules it’s no wonder consumers find French wine so confusing. It also doesn't help that most French wines begin with the word “Château” and have rather similar looking labels!
