The Kirkland Signature Pinot Grigio from Costco, only $5.99 and packed with flavor.
From the bottle:
The cool-climate wine region Friuli is bordered by the Alps in Northeast Italy. Kirkland Signature 2020 Pinot Grigio displays a fragrant bouquet of crisp apple with a hint of white flowers. Bright acidity is followed by a clean, refreshing finish.
While Pinot Grigio seems like it is a dime a dozen these days, good, flavorful Pinot Grigio is a whole nother story, especially when you're looking at a $5-$6 price point. Thankfully, Costco nails this one.
The 2020 Kirkland Signature Pinot Grigio begins with a pleasant aroma of honeydew melon, green apple, pear, lemon and a touch of a floral note.
Tasting the wine shows lots of rich fruit - lemon, green apple and pear. Some tropical fruit notes also come out on the mid-palate and lead into the tart, crisp and refreshing finish that leaves some lightly sweet fruit notes lingering on the lips.
Add in some great, bright acidity and there's absolutely nothing not to like at this price making this a great go-to Pinot Grigio on the cheap!
