A really nice example of Malbec at a low price, we review the Bodega Renacer Punto Final Malbec.
100% Malbec from vineyards over 50 years old in the Uco Valley and Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and does not spend any time in oak. It is also vegan friendly.

Punto Final Malbec has been crafted from grapes sourced from vineyards over 50 years old, with maximum yields not exceeding 8 tons per hectare. Through meticulous work in both the vineyards and the winery, Renacer’s winemakers are able to produce wines of distinction and great typicity.

The 2023 Bodega Renacer Punto Final Malbec opens with a pleasing, harmonious aroma of dark berry fruit plus touches of baking spice and a little black pepper.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be smooth with good depth and similar flavors to the nose with well-integrated spice throughout. With good balance and structure, this is a really nice example of Malbec at this low price.
It ends dry, long and grippy and was similar on day 2.
