French Wine! The Best Wines From France

For many people wine is synonymous with the French. After all, it's been a part of their way of life for hundreds of years. France is also home to some of the world's most expensive wines; however that doesn't mean there aren't bargains to be had!

In our list of the Best Wines from France under $20 we make it easy. All of the good and none of the the bad.

The Best French Wine Under $20 - The Reverse Wine Snob Picks!

If you asked people to list what comes to mind when they think of the country of France, French wine would, without a doubt, be near the top of the list. But there is so much wine that comes from this place (and some of it is so incredibly expensive) that it can be dizzyingly complex to navigate your way around vino from this country.

With 15+ major wine regions in France (like the Rhone Valley and Languedoc), each with their own unique set of rules, it’s no wonder consumers find French wine so confusing. It also doesn't help that most French wines begin with the word "Château" or "Domaine" and have rather similar, old-fashioned looking labels!

Click here to check out our printable shopping lists!

In this section, I offer a number of recommendations of my favorite, inexpensive wines from France, all offering tremendous quality. Let's get started on a lifelong journey of exploring the wine of France!

Read on for our list of The Best French Wines Under $20!
