Champagne Charles Lafitte Cuvee Speciale Brut
Combining tradition and modernity, this cuvée embodies the art of champagne blending in all its finesse. This prestigious champagne is made from three grape varietals that are emblematic of the Champagne region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, each with its own signature to create a perfect balance. The Chardonnay, a noble grape varietal, lends this cuvée a lively freshness and subtle minerality, while the Pinot Noir provides structure and aromatic intensity. Pinot Meunier adds fruity notes and a delicious roundness. Together, these three grape varietals form a complex, refined composition, where every sip is an invitation to the senses.

The Champagne Charles Lafitte Cuvee Speciale Brut opens with a classic, attractive aroma of citrus, apple, some floral notes, a little tropical fruit and touches of fresh baked bread and sea salt. It’s a great start.
Crisp, balanced and with just the right amount of sweetness, acidity and bubbles in the mouth, this is really pleasing and tasty. Highly refreshing, it features similar flavors to nose and goes great with food. It also works wonderfully as a palate cleanser or as part of a French 75, one of our favorite cocktails.
It ends crisp and quite long. It’s definitely a splurgeworthy choice that is great to have on hand should the need to celebrate arise. We put it at the high end of our 9 Taste Rating at 92-93 points.
