Portuguese Wine - The Best Wines From Portugal

The country of Portugal has long been associated with fortified Port wines and for good reason. However, if that’s the only Portuguese wine you drink you are definitely missing out!

Portuguese Wine - The Best Wines From Portugal

Those same grape varieties used in Port make some of the most exciting red wines on the market. But best of all, almost none of them will empty your wallet, simply because the region is not as renowned as it should be. Like Spain, France and Italy, the country has tons of old vineyards with very established vines that produce fantastic fruit.

Much of the wine made here is happening along the Douro River but regions like Alentejo also produce some amazing values. We cover them all in our picks of The Best Wine From Portugal Under $20!
