Not a lot of info available on this particular bottling, but hey it’s Aldi and it’s only 5 bucks! Let’s check it out.
The Mimo Moutinho Vinho Verde opens with a fresh and fruity aroma of citrus plus a little melon and green apple.
Tasting reveals this to be a porch pounder, thirst quencher kind of wine! Fresh, light-bodied and lightly bubbly it features citrus and some tropical fruit flavors. It’s quite fruity and has a touch of sweetness but that just adds to the quaffability. (It’s a good thing it’s only 9% alcohol.) This is exactly what you want in a $5 Vinho Verde.
It ends crisp, lip-smacking and satisfying on the long enough finish.
