From the winery:
2022 Post Scriptum is made from fruit from the same two prized vineyards in the Douro Valley –Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz – as the celebrated Chryseia, the first Prats & Symington wine, released in 2000.
The Year: 2022 saw an unprecedented string of heatwaves in the months leading up to the harvest. However, very few vines showed any signs of hydric stress – a testament to their resilience and adaptability to harsh conditions.
The Wine: The 2022 has expressive, fresh and concentrated fruit married to exquisite balance and elegance.

The 2022 Prats & Symington Post Scriptum de Chryseia opens with an excellent aroma of blackberry, vanilla, cedar, licorice and spice plus a little anise and graphite. It’s a great start.
Fantastic from the first silky smooth sip, this is a juicy, rich and delicious wine full of deep wild berry fruit flavors, more licorice, good acidity and excellently integrated spice.
It ends dry and long with fine grippy tannins, lots of lingering spice notes and maybe even a bit of chalkiness. It was similar on day 2. Fabulous!
