A quaffer! We review the Chateau Beauregard Ducasse Graves Blanc at Trader Joe’s and produced by Vignobles Lurton Perromat.
50% Sauvignon and 50% Semillon from Graves, Bordeaux, France. The wine is aged in stainless steel for 8 months. The grapes are organically grown and the wine is vegan friendly.
The Chateau Beauregard Ducasse Graves Blanc seems to be a Trader Joe’s exclusive in the USA and sells for just $8.99. It is imported by Plume Ridge.

2025 Chateau Beauregard Ducasse Graves Blanc
AOC GravesLocated at the highest point of the Graves region at an altitude of 113 meters, Château Beauregard Ducasse has been a family property since 1850.
Albert Perromat represents the 7th and new generation—young, committed, and responsible—who is taking flight while ensuring continuity.
Mindful of our environment always, we have installed an itinerant apiary in our vineyard. The property has been certified “High Environmental Value” (HVE) since 2017 and in Organic Agriculture since 2024.
BLENDS: 50% Sémillon | 50% Sauvignon
TERROIR: Graves, sands, and iron-pan concretions. South-facing gravel ridge with high sun exposure, which gives us excellent grape maturity.

VINIFICATION: Traditional vinification, pneumatic pressing, fermentation regulated at 18°C. This wine is aged entirely in stainless steel tanks for 8 months to preserve the varietal aromas of the Sauvignon and retain excellent freshness.
TASTING: Beautiful pale yellow color. Very expressive nose combining freshness and aromatic finesse. Very good acidity on the palate, aromas of white-fleshed fruit (apple, pear, peach) and mineral notes. Very elegant finish.

The 2025 Chateau Beauregard Ducasse Graves Blanc opens just as you would expect for the region with plenty of grassy and herbal notes plus guava and other tropical fruits on the nose. It’s a nice, inviting start.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be smooth and fresh with just enough acidity – although it could use a touch more. It features similar flavors to the nose with a bit of citrus and apple/pear in the mouth as well. It’s not super deep but it’s juicy and refreshing to drink. This is a quaffer.
It ends crisp and dry with quite good length. This is a great pick!
