Chronic Cellars Suite Petite – Good Bones

Last Updated on January 10, 2023

Highly Recommended Petite Sirah with a dash of Syrah, we review the Chronic Cellars Suite Petite from Paso Robles.

Chronic Cellars Suite Petite - Good Bones

90% Petite Sirah and 10% Syrah from Paso Robles, California. The wine is aged 8 months on French oak.

Sample submitted for review. The wine has an SRP of $15 but is available for as low as $12.

From the bottle:

All class and a little sass, Suite Petite goes after what she wants. Next stop, a spot in the poshest penthouse!

Sip back with the loveliest blueberry notes and a zing of fresh cracked pepper.

For us, it’s in our bones.

The 2021 Chronic Cellars Suite Petite opens with an attractive aroma abounding with dark, really ripe fruit plus spice, chocolate, cola, a bit of a meaty note and even some floral touches.

Tasting the full-bodied wine reveals more dark, ripe fruit that is juicy in the mouth. It also has more chocolate and meaty notes along with nice touches of spice throughout. You can definitely taste the 10% Syrah, which is a good thing in our opinion. The wine gets even better after a couple hours of air.

It ends with a dry, long, grippy and dusty finish. We found it to be very similar on day two.
