The 2022 Head High Sonoma County Chardonnay opens with a rich and enticing aroma full of lemon and other citrus plus a little tropical fruit.
The wine is juicy, fruity, rich and delicious right from the first sip! Fresh with a vibrant acidity, it features great depth on the mouth filling fruit. I love that is both unoaked and doesn’t have any buttery notes (no malolactic fermentation), which lets the fruit shine.
It ends with a dry, long, lemon-soaked, lip-smacking finish. This is my kind of Chardonnay and a definite crowd-pleaser. Pair this with seafood!
