This 100% Petite Sirah is an inky dark purple hue. The nose sets the stage with aromas of black fruits, fresh herbs, and sweet toasted oak. The palate is loaded with blackberries, and Luxardo cherries and gives way to a long and supple finish.

And now on to our review:

The 2021 Peachy Canyon Adelaida District Petite Sirah begins with a lovely, strong and perfumed aroma full of violets and lavender to go along with the plentiful dark berry fruit. Touches of licorice, chocolate, vanilla and much more also come out as you swirl and sniff. It’s an excellent start.

Taking a sip reveals a super smooth and silky wine with great depth. It’s big but super drinkable with similar flavors to the nose, touches of dried herbs and slightly chewy tannins throughout. This is a fantastic example of Petite Sirah.

It ends dry, smooth and a bit grippy on the very long finish. Somehow it was even smoother on day 2! A perfect 10 Taste Rating right here, get it while you can.
