And now on to our review:

The 2019 Roche Longford Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir even smells smooth! It opens with savory notes of dark fruit, spice, lots of cola and some dried herbal notes. It gets even better as it has time to breathe and adds a touch of leathery smokiness. It’s a very nice start.

Tasting the wine reveals it to indeed be smooth, lusciously so. It features similar flavors to the nose that all combine quite harmoniously. There’s also an added bit of earthiness present when tasting.

It ends smooth, dry and long. It was just as good on day two where a nice spicy note developed. This is really tasty! We’ll put it at the high end of our 9 Taste Rating (92-93 points).
