From the bottle:
Harnessing the power of nature
Juggernaut grapes are grown in challenging conditions, where true grit and determination yield spectacular results. In Marlborough, the maritime influence moderates temperatures, while formidable Southern Hemisphere winds strike the small landmass. The result is “killer” Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant acidity. Bright notes of passionfruit, grapefruit and lemon are accompanied by traditional aromas of fresh cut grass and gooseberry. Overcoming hardship builds character.
12.5% Alcohol
The 2023 Juggernaut Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc definitely smells like New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! It’s filled with plenty of grassy and tropical fruit notes plus some lemon and lime. It’s a classic, inviting start.
Taking a sip reveals rich and zesty fresh fruits similar to the nose with a vibrant mouthfeel and good acidity. This is quite a pleasing example of the variety.
It ends crisp and dry on the lip-smacking finish.
