Burgondie is the legendary territory that has given birth to the name Bourgogne. A territory where wine is king. This brightly colored wine reveals aromas of citrus and white stone fruits. It is floral, fruit forward on the palate with complexity. Serve as an aperitif, or during a meal. Food pairing: sushi, spring rolls, antipasti, tapas, seafood pasta, grilled fish, white meats or mild cheeses.

The 2023 La Burgondie Bourgogne Chardonnay opens with an attractive aroma of citrus, pear, apricot and honeysuckle. It’s quite a nice start and it smells like it has some depth to it which isn’t expected at this low of a price.
Taking a sip reveals the wine to be smooth and juicy and it does have some depth to it! It features similar flavors to the nose with no oaky or buttery notes. Very fresh and easy to drink, this goes wonderfully with fish dishes.
It ends fresh, dry, clean and long. This is a nice find!
