From the bottle:
Our Reserve Pinot Noir is crafted from a meticulous selection of the finest and most complex barrels in our cellar. Approachable upon release, this classic pinot has the balance, structure, and finesses to age for another decade. In addition to our Estate-grown grapes, we source fruit from dedicated family farmers like us who live and work on their land. These grapes were hand-picked, sorted, and crafted into small-lot wines with commitment to quality and sustainability.

The 2021 Lange Estate Winery Reserve Pinot Noir opens with very pleasing aromas of black cherry, touches of spice, violets, tobacco, tea and chocolate and a hint of blood orange. It’s a great start.
Taking a sip reveals an incredibly smooth, incredibly well balanced, and incredibly tasty medium-bodied wine. This is some excellent Pinot if you can stomach the price! It features similar flavors to the nose with juicy fruit and more blood orange in the mouth and is very fresh with just a touch of earthiness.
It ends dry, extremely long, juicy and mouthwatering on the lovely finish and was similar on day 2. This is definitely splurgeworthy!
