Welcome to our first ever Wine Flash Sale here at Reverse Wine Snob!
I love introducing readers to new and unexpected wines but the number one complaint I get is "I can't find that wine you recommended!" To remedy this I've decided to team up with VinoShipper to make sure you can find some of my favorite wines. I hope to be able to offer more of these in the future but we'll see how this first one goes!
The Wines: What I really want to do with these flash sales is introduce you to wine which is not normally found on the shelves of your local liquor stores. For our May Sale all six wines come from my recent trip to Argentina; in fact, these represent my six favorites from the myriad of wines I tasted on the trip. Even more surprisingly only one of them is a Malbec! Argentina does so many other varieties really well and I hope this selection will open some eyes to that fact. (I'll be posting much more about these six wines and my trip over the next couple weeks so watch for that!)
The Deal: I worked directly with the importer of all six wines to come up with a deal that will work for my readers. That means through our May 2016 Flash Sale you can get all six wines for $99 plus only $10 shipping (plus tax). Because I'm subsidizing a good portion of the shipping my cut out of this will be very small (Costco margins small most likely) but I'm hopeful we can over time make up for that with volume. In fact, I'd love to turn this into a buying club of sorts where we are using our volume to negotiate even better deals on the wine thus driving the price down further.
How it Works: Place your order securely, online, through the shopping cart provided below. This selection is available through Wednesday 5/18 or until we run out. (Full case purchases are no longer available.) The actual checkout will happen through VinoShipper who is the seller of record and are masters of all the compliance/logistical issues inherent in this business.
When Will I Get My Wine? Shipments will begin a few days after Wednesday 5/18. (If you're ordering one of the last remaining 6 packs after 5/18, your order will ship out within a few days.) To save costs in transporting from the importer and in processing the packages we're going to be aggregating all the orders over the next two weeks and shipping all at once. Shipments will come via UPS and be from VinoShipper. (And while I hate to discourage anyone from ordering, you might want to be mindful of temperatures if you are in a very hot area this time of year as heat is wines worst enemy!)
Here's the first post that features 5 of the 6 wines below: Argentinian Adventures Part 1: Much More Than Malbec
Happy shopping and thanks for supporting Reverse Wine Snob!
