The mouth-feel is supple, with delicious, concentrated fruit flavors of strawberry rhubarb pie and cranberries followed by secondary, savory notes of fresh herbs. A reliable daily drinker, this sumptuous Pinot is a delightful expression of cool-climate Pinot Noir.
FOOD PAIRING: This bright and balanced wine has both bright acidity and vibrant fruit character, which makes it an easy match for wood-fired pizza or dishes that feature mushrooms, like truffled risotto with aged pecorino.

The 2021 Meadowcroft Carneros Napa Valley Pinot Noir opens with a very pleasing aroma of black cherry, some lovely oaky spice, cedar, herbs, cola and a touch of rhubarb. It’s a great start.
The wine tastes similar to the nose, with a bit more rhubarb in the mouth plus some strawberry as well. Quite smooth and lush, this is a great example of Carneros Pinot.
It ends dry, long, lively and a bit grippy. It was even a bit better on day 2 where there was a bit more strawberry and lots of lingering spice. Fantastic!
