Ropiteau Les Plants Nobles Pinot Noir Box Wine Review

100% Pinot Noir from France. One third of the wine was aged for a short time in barrel.

We found this 3 liter box wine for just $22.99, which is the equivalent of $5.75 per 750ml bottle. Those bottles sell for closer to $12 each so you get a nice discount here by buying it in the box form.

The 2023 Ropiteau Les Plants Nobles Pinot Noir 3L Box opens with a pleasing aroma of red and black cherry, a touch of minty spice and hint of a toasty note. It’s not a bad start, especially once it has a bit of time in the glass to breathe.

Taking a sip reveals this to be a soft, smooth, light and easy to drink example of Pinot Noir. I love that it is 100% Pinot Noir, this is not something you find often at this low of a price. It features similar flavors to nose with a bit of juiciness on the fruit, nice balance and just enough structure.

It ends dry and with decent length and was similar on day 2 to at least day 30, after all this a box!
