The 2022 Starpointe Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon opens with a pleasing aroma of tropical fruit, lemon, some light herbal notes and just a hint of grassiness. It’s a good start.
With 40% Semillon, this is a blend that you don’t see a lot of in Washington State but this one is rich and tasty in the mouth. It features similar flavors to the nose with a bit more grapefruit when tasting plus a vibrant mouthfeel. Quite refreshing, this is well worth the price.
It ends with a crisp, tart, lip-smacking and satisfying finish.
