Highly Recommended, the Trader Joe’s Reserve Carneros Pinot Noir Lot 140.

Trader Joe's Reserve Carneros Pinot Noir - Surprisingly Good

Pinot Noir from Carneros, Napa Valley, California.

This wine is available exclusively at Trader Joe’s and sells for just $9.99.

From the bottle:

Our cool climate Pinot Noir offers spicy aromas of ripe cherry, black tea, and subtle hints of oak. Soft tannins finish this very food friendly wine.

Vinted and Bottled by Carneros Cellars
14.0% Alcohol

The 2018 Trader Joe’s Reserve Carneros Pinot Noir Lot 140 begins with a classic and pleasing Pinot aroma of cherry, cola, licorice, earth, leather, strawberry and a little mint.

The wine tastes surprisingly good and features similar flavors to the nose but with juicy fruit in the mouth. The earthiness from the nose carries over and works wonderfully with the fruit. It also features a smooth mouthfeel.

It ends dry and long. I gotta say I might like this one even a tad bit more than the Grand Reserve Carneros Pinot Noir which is priced $3 more at $12.99. This is a great value right here and it’s equally as good as the Kirkland Signature Carneros Pinot Noir which also retails for $9.99.
