Intense lifted notes of ripe tropical fruits and citrus on the nose. Refined and elegant, displaying a finely textured palate with flavours of guava and stone fruit. Wonderfully expressive with a fresh, dry finish.

The 2021 Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc opens with harmonious and inviting aromas of citrus and tropical fruit along with just a bit of a grassy note. It’s a rather beautiful start and is instantly recognizable as New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The wine tastes fresh, crisp and delicious. Full of rich, flavorful fruit similar to the nose it also features good acidity and a pleasing mouthfeel.
It ends dry and very, very long with lots of lingering juicy fruit on the lip-smacking finish. This is great example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. I love it, especially at the Costco price.
