The 2023 Albert Bichot Chablis Domaine Long-Depaquit opens with a fresh aroma of citrus and melon with a little bit of baked apple and some chalky minerality. It’s a nice start.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be smooth and fresh with similar flavors to the nose plus touches of tropical fruit and a lively mouthfeel. It’s quite nice, just don’t drink it too cold to experience it at its best.
It ends dry, juicy, tart and quite long with that chalky minerality returning at the very end.
