The Wine: Extremely intense on the nose, the 2023 Grenache Rosé begins with strawberry syrup, rose petals, watermelon, lavender, wet stones, and citrus peel. Swirling brings white stone fruits, guava, and potpourri, with seashells and mineral undertones. The mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied, with fantastic texture and lifted acidity. Low in alcohol, the mid-palate is crunchy and juicy, with remarkable tension and phenomenal sweetness. Showcasing tons of Provence-style characteristics, the wine finishes extremely long and mineral, with a kiss of sweetness to back it up. Beautiful now, you can enjoy this great rosé for the next 3 years.
The Vineyard: Gård Vintners wines are 100% estate grown sustainably at Lawrence Vineyards, featuring 14 distinct vineyard sites. With elevations that range 870 feet to 1,675 feet and primarily south-facing slopes, Lawrence Vineyards provide a great framework for grape production, while the diversity of each of the locations delivers a high level of complexity to Gård wines. Lawrence Vineyards is certified sustainable.

The 2023 Gard Vintners Rosé opens with a complex and very inviting aroma of watermelon, fruit salad, and floral accents plus a little tropical fruit and some subtle mineral notes. It’s a fantastic start!
The wine tastes uber-delicious and is very easy to drink and refreshing with juicy fruit, good depth and balance and a wonderful lively mouthfeel with touches of minerality. This is a lovely, all-around rosé. Pool, patio, picnic, the dinner table — this one fits everywhere.
It ends dry, crisp, a bit lip-smacking and long on the very satisfying finish. This bottle will go quick!
