100% Pinot Noir from a number of vineyards in the Willamette Valley of Oregon including
King Estate, Stagger, Greiten, Fern Creek, Elkhorn Ridge, Fitzpatrick, Erratic Oaks, Croft, Union
School and more.
20% of the wine undergoes whole cluster fermentation. It was aged 8 months in French oak and has just 1.92 g/L of residual sugar.
Sample submitted for review. This wine has an SRP of $20 and can be found for as low as $16. 40,000 cases were produced.

Inscription is a vow of authenticity. The King family has sourced the Pinot Noir grapes for this wine from some of the most acclaimed vineyards in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. This is classic Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, with lush red fruit and flavors of forest and earth – a showcase for the unique and authentic place of Oregon in the wine world.

The 2021 King Estate Inscription Pinot Noir opens with classic and pleasing Pinot Noir aroma of black cherry, strawberry, a little earthiness and some cola and rhubarb.
Taking a sip reveals this to be quite tasty with a smooth mouthfeel and good balance. Featuring similar flavors to the nose with good fruit and a little earthiness underneath, this light to medium-bodied wine also has touches of orange peel and pomegranate in the mouth.
It ends dry and with good length and was similar on day 2. This is genuine Willamette Valley Pinot at a great price.
