From the winery:
A delicate wine, distinguished by a fine, lingering perlage. Golden Delicious apples, pink grapefruit and limes are clearly perceived on the nose; to these are added more delicate hints of pears and plums, together with wisteria flowers. Soft and silky, in the mouth it develops the pleasant freshness of fruit straight off the tree.
Residual sugar: 9 g/l
Serving Temp: 6-8CProduced and Bottled by Masottina S.P.A.
11% Alcohol
The Masottina Collezione 96 Prosecco DOC Brut opens with a fresh, attractive aroma of citrus, apple, a little grapefruit and some floral notes plus a touch of bread and just a hint of chalkiness.
The wine tastes crisp with similar flavors to the nose plus a bit more tart, tropical fruit in the mouth. Nicely balanced and not too sweet, it also features good persistent, fine bubbles.
It ends with good length. This is quite pleasing.
