The 2019 Primus The Blend smells quite fruity and a bit jammy, but it’s an inviting start. It also has a little cedar and spice plus a touch of olive and black tea adding a savory note.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be rather simple, but also kind of irresistible. The medium-bodied wine is juicy, easy to drink and nicely balanced and features similar flavors to the nose.
It ends dry, a bit grippy and with good length and was similar on day 2.
