70% Verdejo and 30% Sauvignon Blanc from Ciudad Real, La Mancha, Spain. The wine is aged for a few months in stainless steel before bottling.
Dry farmed from vines up to 40 years old, sustainably grown, vegan friendly and most importantly – delicious! This is quite the box wine.
We found this 3 liter box locally in the mid-$20s but with a little searching you can get it for as low as $17. This puts the 750ml bottle equivalent price at an incredible $4.25! It is imported by Fine Estates From Spain, Inc.

Quadrum Wine Co. was founded in June 2020 by siblings Monica and Victor Ordóñez, children of legendary Spanish wine importer, Jorge Ordóñez.
Vineyards: Vineyards located in the southern subzone of La Mancha, surrounding the city of Ciudad Real
Year(s) Planted: 1980-2000
Viticulture: Sustainable dry farmed viticulture. High density trellises without irrigation or harmful fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, or chemically synthesized fertilizers. Hand harvested.
Soils: Sandy soils intermixed with small chunks of limestone. The surface is intermixed with iron rich red clay.
Climate: Continental-MediterraneanWinemaking: The grapes are destemmed and a pre-fermentative maceration is carried out for 8 hours before pressing. Temperature controlled fermentation (inoculated with neutral yeasts) at very low temperatures. The wine contains 25ppm free SO2.

Comments: Quadrum White is a blend of 70% Verdejo and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. The region of La Mancha offers ideal growing conditions with a hot and dry climate, sandy soils, and high elevation. Verdejo is Spain’s most important indigenous aromatic white varietal. With slightly different harvest times, these two acidic, fresh, aromatic white varietals blend together to offer a balanced elegant white wine.

The 2023 Quadrum White Wine Blend opens with a fresh, inviting aroma of citrus and tropical fruit plus some light touches of floral notes (honeysuckle, orange blossom, more) and wild herbs. It’s a great start.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be fresh, juicy and really quite delicious with similar flavors to the nose. It also features good balance and good acidity. This is just a lovely wine to have in a box!
It ends crisp and dry on the satisfying finish and the box gives you up to a month of a very enjoyable wine! We put this one at the low end of our 8 Taste Rating (89 points) making this an incredible value.
