Rabble Zinfandel – One Good Zin

Last Updated on July 29, 2025

Balanced and extremely flavorful, the Rabble Zinfandel from Paso Robles.

Rabble Zinfandel – One Good Zin

Zinfandel from the Mossfire vineyard in Paso Robles, California. The wine was aged 10 months in 10% new French oak and 90% neutral barrels.

Sample submitted for review. The wine has an SRP of $27 but is available for as low as $16. Like the other Rabble wines, it’s got a pretty cool augmented reality label too.

From the bottle:

The Rebellious Wine appeared in the tenth month of the year 2018. Fruits picked at Mossfire Ranch from the soils of Paso Robles.

Vinted & Bottled by Rabble Wine Company
14.5% Alcohol

The 2018 Rabble Zinfandel begins with a very nice, classic Zin aroma with brambly notes of raspberry, blueberry, cola plus a little spice and vanilla.

Tasting reveals an extremely flavorful but balanced wine with similar notes to the nose and a touch of earthiness under the fruit. Licorice, plum and black cherry notes all present in the mouth as well. This is some good Zin.

It ends dry, very long and grippy with lots of lasting cola and even a little bit of minerality. This would be great with anything off the grill or covered in barbecue sauces. The label is a great party trick too.
