Refreshing Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, we review the Trader Joe’s Reserve Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc Lot #267.
Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley, California. No further info is available on the wine.
Like all of the Reserve level wines at Trader Joe’s, it is priced at $9.99.
We love the bright label on this one and the Napa Valley designation certainly gets your attention, but like all TJ’s private label wines coming from bulk juice, we know the quality can vary widely. The true test as always is what’s in the bottle so let’s check it out!
From the bottle:
Lot #267
Aromatic nose bursting with notes of citrus, pineapple and hints of guava, followed by hints of yuzu, key lime, white peach and pomelo. Crisp and clean with mouthwatering acidity.
Produced and Bottled by Free Run Wine Company
13.9% Alcohol
The 2024 Trader Joe’s Reserve Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc Lot #267 opens with aromas of peach, citrus and a little tropical fruit with no grassiness at all. It’s quite an enticing start.
The wine tastes crisp, flavorful and very refreshing. It features similar flavors to the nose with juicy fruit in the mouth and a nice round mouthfeel.
It ends crisp, dry, long and juicy on the lip-smacking finish. There’s nothing not to like here! If you enjoy your Sauvignon Blanc without the grassy notes, this is a great choice to stock up on.
