The 2023 Willia Creek Cellars Chardonnay opens with a pleasing aroma of lemon and other citrus, apple, and a bready, nutty note. There are also touches of tropical fruits and flowers.
Tasting the wine reveals it to be fresh and juicy with similar flavors to the nose that are more tart in the mouth. Smooth and with nice depth and good acidity this is a really easy to drink, non-oaky, non-buttery Chardonnay.
It ends fresh, clean and smooth with good length and lingering tart tropical fruit notes.
