Boxxle - Taking Box Wine To A New Level

By: Jon Thorsen Published: December 17, 2015 Last Updated: October 21, 2022

Boxxle - Taking Box Wine To A New LevelClass up your countertop with the elegant Boxxle box wine dispenser.

We're big fans of box wine here at Reverse Wine Snob, but those big ugly cardboard boxes do have some drawbacks - the biggest being the big ugly cardboard box. It doesn't stop us from drinking them by any means, but we've long thought there must be a better, more aesthetically pleasing option. Today's Sponsored Post from Boxxle might just have the answer...

The reason we love Reverse Wine Snob is that they are all about finding great wines at great values, and more and more often those wines are coming in 3 liter Bag-in-Box packaging, commonly, and sometimes deridingly known as “box” wine. Some truly great wines are now going into this packaging and the “box” stigma is quickly fading.

3 liter box wine is the fastest growing wine segment in the United States, and with good reason. The quality of wine has greatly improved and the packaging is less expensive and lighter to ship, which saves money and fuel, and those savings are passed down to the consumer.

With those benefits, it’s no mystery as why more and more wineries are putting great, award winning wines in BIB packaging. Boutique California winery, Vino Noceto, both bottles and boxes its Sangiovese wine and they pass the packaging savings on - a bottle goes for $18, while a box of the same juice can be had for $15 a bottle equivalent. And the best part…the wine stays fresh for more than a MONTH after opening! So, no need to worry about oxidation or spoilage, which eliminates waste and saves money.

Boxxle - Taking Box Wine To A New Level

The quality of box wine has greatly improved in the last few years; however, the actual drinking experience has not kept pace with the quality. Fortunately, Boxxle has invented an elegant wine dispenser which transforms a box of wine into Wine-on-Tap for the home. Boxxle uses a patented lift system to raise the wine above the glass, and with consistent pressure from below, squeezes the bag until your last glass is poured. Boxxle elevates the box wine experience and gives you quality wine-by-the-glass at home, dispensed when and how you want it.

Already being used by restaurants and bars around the country, Boxxle was designed to work with all 3 liter bags on the market, including those reviewed by Reverse Wine Snob recently. Just pick up a delicious box of wine at the local wine shop, load the Boxxle, and voila, wine-on-tap for the home. Enjoy a glass whenever you want, without the worry of oxidation and frustration of pouring wine down the drain after opening a bottle.

Oh, did we mention it makes a great holiday gift for the wine lover on your list?!? Now on available on Amazon!
