12.5% Alcohol

The 2017 Domaine Matrot Bourgogne Chardonnay begins with a pleasing aroma of apple, pear, a little bit of an almond cookie and vanilla note and a pinch of buttered corn. The nicely balanced wine tastes lightly oaky and still has plenty of fruit but a bit of a buttery note as well. It also features a nice mouthfeel with good depth of flavor in the apple, pear, tropical fruit flavors. There’s even a dash of vibrant minerality to round things out. This is just a very good all-around Chardonnay. It ends dry and long.
