Ribera del Duero is one of our favorite spots to find big, tasty wines and the the 2014 Emilio Moro doesn't disappoint! It begins with a very strong and very pleasing aroma of red and black cherry, blackberry and balsamic. The wine tastes savory and delicious with smooth, brambly fruit in the mouth and similar flavors to the nose plus lots of licorice. This is really tasty stuff especially after it's had some time to open up in the glass. It ends with a touch of toasty oak and vanilla on the lengthy, dry finish.
