Domingo Fazzio invites you to rest at the edge of the vineyard to find inspiration. You'll hear about how his family moved to Argentina in search of a better life. And of the better life they found as each vine took root. You'll hear of his love of working the soil and dancing the tango. And you'll leave inspired by this "old man" to never slow down.

Today we return our attention to another delicious Malbec from La Posta. Created by Laura Catena, this series highlights single-grower, single-vineyard wines throughout different regions of Mendoza. (One of these wines even sits atop our Best Wines of 2018 list!) This time we travel to the Tupungato region in the Uco Valley of Mendoza.
The 2016 La Posta Fazzio Malbec begins with a very pleasant aroma of blackberry, plum, lots of cedar, a little violet and licorice. Tasting the very smooth, medium-bodied wine reveals loads of fresh, juicy fruit and fine, slightly chewy tannins. Nice touches of spice lead into the long, dry lingering finish of vanilla-tinged dark fruit. This is another delicious wine from La Posta!
