La Rue Cotes de Provence Rosé – Smooth and Easy

Last Updated on May 23, 2021

Aldi delivers a smooth and easy-going wine for summer, the La Rue Cotes de Provence Rosé.

La Rue Cotes de Provence Rosé - Smooth and Easy

An undisclosed blend of red grapes from Provence, France. (Most likely some combination of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and/or Cinsault.)

This wine is available for just $8.99 exclusively at Aldi.

From the bottle:

Our winemaking team has meticulously selected and blended the delicate regional varietals growing in beautiful Provence making this charming rosé an embodiment of the region.

12% Alcohol

The 2018 La Rue Cotes de Provence Rosé begins with a pleasing aroma of watermelon, strawberry, lime and maybe just a touch of tomato plant.

Tasting reveals this to be a pretty basic Provence rosé but that’s certainly not a bad thing. It features similar flavors to the nose and is fresh and light in the mouth with a touch of sweetness. This is a smooth and easy-going wine for summer.

It ends dry, bit of sea salt minerality under the tart fruit, good length.
