From the bottle:
MWC 2014 Shiraz 95% Mourvedre 5% is sourced from premium grape growing regions in Victoria. The medium bodied Shiraz Mourvedre shows rich dark berry fruit, leather, spice and hints of white pepper. Delicate integration of French oak finely tempered by the savoury tannins of the Mourvedre brings balance and fullness to the palate.

The 2014 MWC Shiraz Mourvedre from McPherson Wine Co. begins with a very pleasant aroma of blackberry, black raspberry, spice, some nice floral notes and a touch of vanilla. Tasting the wine reveals it to be smooth and savory with really tasty fruit along with leather, oaky spice and even a hint of olive. I have to say that it tastes more along the lines of a Northern Rhone style of Syrah than your typical Australian Shiraz, which is a very good thing in my opinion. It ends dry and long with lingering blackberry fruit and well-integrated spice. Highly Recommended!
