Sonoma County is a geographic symphony of mountains, hills and coastline. A sub-appellation within Sonoma County, the Sonoma Coast along the Pacific ocean is known for its cool climate. The Peaks & Tides found along the coast create a unique microclimate perfectly suited to growing Chardonnay grapes.

The 2019 Peaks & Tides Sonoma Coast Chardonnay starts things off with a pleasing pear aroma of spicy baked apple, citrus and some buttered corn notes.
The wine tastes pretty similar to the nose but is a bit more tart in the mouth. You'll also find a smooth mouthfeel and a bit more butter along with a little vanilla.
It ends dry, crisp and with good length. While it's not over the top buttery I'd say this is definitely a wine for the oaked chardonnay crowd.
