Picton, at the northern tip of New Zealand's South Island, is the gateway to Marlborough. This wine is produced from world famous Marlborough vineyards.

The 2020 Picton Bay Sauvignon Blanc opens with a pleasing aroma full of grassy guava and other tropical fruit notes.
Tasting the wine reveals a perfectly acceptable New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc but it is lacking a bit of acidity and crispness. Still it's very easy to drink and a good value at this price. It features more tropical fruit in the mouth plus plenty of lemon, lime and other citrus.
It ends with a dry, decent length finish.
