Our love affair with Washington wine continues today with the 2012 Pitch Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine begins with pleasant aromas of blackberry, cedar, a touch of herbs and even a bit of a brambly note. Tasting the wine reveals a harmonious blend of dark fruit and oak -- licorice, black cherry, oaky spice, leather and tobacco combine seamlessly in this medium to full-bodied wine. It ends dry, a bit grippy and with good length. A great value, this Cab definitely drinks above its price point.
