From the winery:

Pitch is an exclusive bottling produced by one of our partners in Washington State. We are proud to offer this wine as an extreme value (year in and year out) from the Columbia Valley in Washington State.

Firm, focused and dense, with blackberry, cherry, sandalwood and grilled rosemary flavors, coming together seamlessly on the long, vivid finish.

Old World structure showing flavors of cassis, black cherry and cocoa with leather, tobacco and savory spice on a balanced toasty finish. A textbook example of delicious Columbia Valley Cabernet.

14% Alcohol

Our love affair with Washington wine continues today with the 2012 Pitch Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine begins with pleasant aromas of blackberry, cedar, a touch of herbs and even a bit of a brambly note. Tasting the wine reveals a harmonious blend of dark fruit and oak — licorice, black cherry, oaky spice, leather and tobacco combine seamlessly in this medium to full-bodied wine. It ends dry, a bit grippy and with good length. A great value, this Cab definitely drinks above its price point.
