After several years of absence, we’re starting to see more of these VINTJS label wines from Trader Joe’s. We recently reviewed the $9.99 VINTJS Redwood Valley Zinfandel and today we are checking out an even cheaper $6.99 Paso Robles Cab.

VINTJS (vintages) – expressions of time and place, bottled in limited quantity.Jammy and fruit-forward while offering bold notes of ripe dark fruits and hints of spice.

The 2021 VINTJS Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon opens with lots of ripe, jammy fruit on the nose plus some cola notes.
The wine tastes…well, there is absolutely nothing special about this one but hey it’s a decent Cab and it’s only $6.99 so there you go! It’s simple with similar flavors to the nose and perhaps a touch sweet and definitely jammy, but it’s not bad and likely to be crowd pleasing. And it does get a little better with air.
It ends dry with a medium-long finish. Like I said, it’s not bad for the price. It was similar on day 2.
