From the winery:

Our newest Pinot Gris has aromas of menthol, fresh cherry and lime. Its crisp structure is complemented by flavors of hazelnuts, grapefruit and pineapple. This wine is a great accompaniment to fresh shellfish, Asian spiced dishes and the view from your RV, boat, or back porch.

13.5% Alcohol

Today we’re featuring our latest deal from our friends at Winecrasher and it’s just in time for summer. For more on the Winecrasher model and why we can’t show you the label see this post.

The 2014 [Name Withheld] Willamette Valley Pinot Gris begins with a bouquet of apple, lime, a little pineapple and great touches of baking spice that complement the fruit aromas perfectly. Taking a sip reveals a perfectly sweet, light, deliciously refreshing and thirst quenching wine. There’s a good reason they don’t call this Pinot Grigio — flavor. You’ll never confuse this for so many of the watered-down, flavorless Pinot Grigio lining your supermarket shelves. Speaking of flavor this one is full of tart, fresh, juicy fruit like lime, apple and pear and those wonderful streaks of baking spice also carry over from the nose. On the satisfying finish the tart fruit lasts and lasts.

Find this 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris at Winecrasher for just $11.99 a bottle plus get free California ground shipping and $9.99 flat rate shipping almost everywhere else.
