We've been fans of Zolo wines since we first tried their seriously good Malbec several years ago. From there we went on to shout the praises of their single varietal Bonarda bottling. Today we return to Mendoza to try this signature white blend from Zolo.
The Zolo Signature White begins with very pleasant aromas of grapefruit, lemon, lime, honeysuckle and some other floral notes. Sweet and bubbly in the mouth, this lively blend of Torrontés, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay is guaranteed to refresh on a hot summer day! (And at only 9% alcohol you better stock up because it won't last long.) The flavors when tasting are similar to the nose just soaked in succulent honey notes. With 40g/L of residual sugar this is definitely a sweet wine, but good acidity and bubbles keep it far from cloying. The wine ends crisp and delicious with lots of lingering sweet fruit.
