From the bottle:
"Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois is one of the greatest dessert wines from France. The wine is a rich golden yellow with an immediate and powerful nose, distinguished by a complex aroma suggesting apricots, quince, mandarin orange and honey. On the palate, the wine is simply luscious.

Today's dessert wine comes from the Minervois appellation area in France which is near the coastline of the Mediterranean between the Pyrenees Mountains and the Rhone River. Saint Jean de Minervois is a small, high altitude area within the larger appellation and it is devoted almost exclusively to Muscat. The area is distinguished by its limestone soil, which no doubt attributes to the unique flavor of wines produced here. This is my first time sampling a wine from this area, but it most assuredly won't be my last.
The Les Petits Grains Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois begins with aromas of apricot, peach, and honey plus orange and some other citrus notes. Quite simply this wine smells delicious. The wonderful aroma is the first sign that you're in for something special, but it doesn't stop there. Tasting the wine shows more apricot and honey flavors plus some nice mango notes. This is a thick, rich and deliciously sweet wine in the mouth. It ends with a long sweet finish but you probably won't be able to determine just how long the finish really is until the very last sip. It really is that good. Nectar is probably the best word to describe this luscious wine. Our first Bulk Buy on a dessert wine!
