Welcome to a new Sunday post with a quick wrap-up of the past week. I primarily publish wine reviews on this site, but I also tend to post a lot of additional info on Facebook and Twitter so I thought it might be nice to start doing this weekly update for those of you not following me on those sites. And, of course, I highly encourage you to follow The Reverse Wine Snob on both those sites and Pinterest too to stay on top of all the latest news and discussions!
This Week's Deals:
On a trip to Costco the other day I stumbled upon a Rioja Reserva for only $10! Too good to be true, I thought, but after trying it the other night I'm a believer! Plus unbeknownst to me Wine Enthusiast has this very wine ranked at #18 on their Top 100 list. Review is coming this week, but in the meantime if you happen to spy the 2007 Eguia Rioja Reserva at Costco grab a few bottles!
This Week's Discussions on The Reverse Wine Snob Facebook page:
Who knew that just mentioning a Costco run could inspire a spirited discussion of Costco versus independent wine shops? Have a strong opinion either way? Join the discussion on the Reverse Wine Snob Facebook page. And give the page a like while you're there to see future posts in your stream.
The Refreshing Rosé post led to some deep, ingrained dislike of what seems to be a most polarizing drink. Most of that dislike appears to still be fallout from the White Zinfandel craze a few years back. Add your voice to the discussion on the RWS Facebook page.
This Week's Most Popular Posts:
- Top 10 Red Wines Under $20
- The Refreshing Rosé post even though it was just published yesterday.
- Keeping with the rosé theme, the Mulderbosch Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé was the third most viewed this week. Maybe this style of wine is more popular than I thought!
That's the weekly wrap-up! Let me know if you would enjoy a weekly post like this and as always, thanks for reading!
