The 2011 Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz begins with subdued berry and honey aromas. Tasting the wine reveals strawberry Jolly Ranchers, jammy berry flavors and honey with a hint of spice. It’s a sweet wine, but smooth and balanced. It ends with good length and the sweetness continues with a bit of dark chocolate. This is definitely not your typical Shiraz, but that’s not a bad thing. Be sure to serve it slightly chilled for the best experience.
