The 2018 Andis Wines Painted Fields Amador Classico opens with a very pleasing aroma of ripe, dark fruit and spice plus a little graphite and earth.
Tasting reveals a really nice blend with great balance. It features a smooth mouthfeel and similar flavors to the nose but it's quite rich and juicy in the mouth. I love that it has so much flavor without having any sugar.
A unique and tasty blend of grapes, this one really hits its stride after being open for a few hours -- so much so that you'll have a hard time saving any for the next day.
It ends dry and long with a bit of tobacco and earthiness on the lingering finish. Excellent!
