The 2015 Avalon BLEND begins with a pleasing aroma full of blackberry, spice and black pepper. The wine tastes smooth, jammy and a little bit sweet and is very easy to drink. Add in a whole lot of oak influence and this wine hits a lot of consumers strike zone. The crowd-pleaser ends with more jammy and spicy blackberry fruit plus lingering vanilla and chocolate notes.
