Herdade do Esporao, located near Reguengos de Monsaraz, maintains its boundaries unchanged since 1267. Our viticulture results in the production of high quality grapes, without the use of chemical products that can prejudice soil quality and our own health. Innovative tulip shaped porous tanks, in our new “Lagares” winery, preserve the principal characteristics of the wines made from these vineyards. Since 1985, Esporao maintains its commitment to produce the finest wines that nature provides, in the most responsible and inspiring way possible.
14% Alcohol
The 2018 Esporao Colheita Branco begins with a pleasing aroma full of grapefruit plus citrus, pear and a bit of a creamy note. Taking a sip reveals similar flavors in the mouth but tending a bit more towards green apple and pear. The fruit is also wrapped up in a nice, slightly creamy texture. This would be a good one for the Chardonnay lovers. Just a hint of spice leads into the dry, long finish. This is another pleasing Portuguese blend!
